I know all too well how quickly kids outgrow clothes. I just sifted through my daughter’s and son’s clothing a few months back, and yet I just went through again today and found another garbage bag worth.
Instead of trashing the clothes, or hoarding the “good” ones to try and sell for a few measly bucks, or taking to Goodwill so they can turn around and sell them for a few measly bucks, why not FreeCycle them?
FreeCycle is a community where members can post both wanted and offering ads. All items are free. The only requirement is coming to pick up the item (unless the giver is willing to make other arrangements).
I FreeCycle things all the time. It’s a great way to “pay it forward” (I have received more than my share of good stuff from there) and get rid of extra things at the same time.
