I am lucky enough to be married. And yes, I said lucky. I realize that the politically correct thing nowadays is to look at single parents as something as good as being a married or at least co-habiting parent, but I disagree. I would never, ever choose being a single parent, unless circumstances forced me to do so (such as an abusive spouse).
