aclens.com is a shopping website that sells contact lenses, as well as some other vision products (glasses, sunglasses, swim goggles, and some accessories). The site has an extensive catalog of contact lenses of varying types (daily disposable, weekly disposable and so on and so forth) and brands. They offer decent prices, discounts on large orders, and free shipping on orders that are over $89.
The design, in my honest opinion, could use a bit of tweaking. I’m not fond of left-aligned layouts, especially for professional websites. I would highly recommend centering the layout, and/or make it extend the width of the entire page. Adjust the left paned navigation so that the background color changes upon hovering the cursor over each link. Add display: block; to each link style so that the link makes that entire section (width especially) a “block” link, which looks much better for the navigation style.
And – bear with me, as I know this is minor – I would change the red font (found underneath the popular contact lenses boxes and names) to a different color. When I see red, I think of required fields, missing information, or an error of sort.
Other than that, the site looks great.
