What is the hardest part of motherhood for you?
For me, it would have to be putting my needs second to those of my children. Now, don’t get me wrong. I act upon that without thinking about it – at the time. I go without a shower, breakfast, even a bathroom break, food, money, etc., to make sure that my children’s needs – as well as some of their wants – are taken care of, all without thinking. But later on I stop and think, “Wow, it sure would have been nice to [do whatever it is I needed/wanted at that time]“.
Like when I’m sick. I hate being sick, and want nothing more than to lay around and baby myself. But motherhood doesn’t stop for fevers, body aches and stomach bugs.
