Having purchased a silver Razr v3 from T-Mobile in February of 2006, I can definitely see why it is so popular. It has a beautiful, slim design, fits nicely in pockets and purses, and has some great features. A large screen and large and back lit buttons provide easy use. The speaker phone function is great, especially when driving.
The phone also came pre-loaded with some nice wallpapers and really awesome ringtones, and lots of other fun settings, including a decent camera and fully functional AIM.
