I was never a fan of beef jerky until recently.
I didn’t like the “look” of beef jerk, the pungent aroma, or even there stereotype of rednecks chewing on beef jerky while driving their Confederate flag plastered pick up trucks down dirt roads.
But then curioisity got the better of me, and I tried a piece of regular beef jerky. And you know what? Looks, apprehension on smell and silly stereotypes all went out the window. This beef jerky is good!
And apparently Wilson Beef Farms (wilsonbeeffarms.com) thinks so too. They sell a whole line of Beef Jerkey in various flavors.
I’ll stick to the usual “original” beef flavor, but there is also hickory smoked, hot beef, black pepper, even teriyaki and BBQ. These flavors are offered in individual packages, but the site also offers a snack sample pack, which is sounding very appealing to me.
What is your favorite type of beef jerky?
