I collected my daughter from my mother’s house yesterday evening. Despite being away from me for four days, she had a blast. Of course, it wasn’t like we had no contact during that time – I saw her for dinner on Saturday and Sunday, and I spoke to her on the phone on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday, and she saw her father on Monday afternoon.
