Would you put a two-piece swimsuit on your baby or toddler? If so, are there limitations to the type of two piece you would put on her?
I succumbed to baby-fied looking two pieces – plain tops and bottoms, perhaps a ruffle here or there. But under no circumstance would I put a bikini style swimsuit (the kind where the top is two triangles and some string) on my daughter.
What are your thoughts? One piece? Two piece? Swim diaper and nothing more?

Strictly sports bra top and boy shorts (preferred) or a plain one piece. I wouldn’t my child looking all “sexified” while swimming.
I just found this picture, thought I’d share: http://www.youngandstylish.com/gallery/Picture011.jpg
Of course the child has no boobs but they could have atleast made the cups much larger than what they are.
I put a two piece on Sydney last year. It was very cute from The Children’s place. It looked like boy shorts and a tank top. My mom got her a two piece this year that is just hideous. Not in the way that it shows any skin or anything but it’s just ugly as all get out.
When she was two we had a two piece surfer deal with the shorts and a tshirt type thing because she burns so easily. I’ve yet to even get her one this year.
