Five children ranging in ages from three to seven years of age died on June 12th in a house fire. At the time there was an alleged seventeen year old babysitter in charge of those five children, plus two eight year olds, but investigations have concluded that there was no babysitter. Instead, the two mothers left the two eight year olds in charge of the five younger children while they went to a bar.
The mothers are now being chared with involuntary manslaughter, as well as some other charges.
Do you think they should be charged? I do! No person in their right mind would leave young children in charge of other younger children. Five babies died, and for what… so the mothers could get a beer?
