Did I mention the wonderful gift I got for my birthday? It wasn’t anything big. It wasn’t anything expensive. It wasn’t anything shocking. It wasn’t even spectacular.
I got a day to myself. I slept in. I didn’t get up with the kids. I didn’t cook breakfast, lunch or dinner. I changed just one diaper. I didn’t bathe the kids, feed the kids, clean up after the kids.
In short, the day was for me and only me.
Needless to say, I was in absolute heaven!
