Despite the numerous colds and viruses I get each year, such as the cold I have right now that has been hovering over me like a craptacular cloud for close to a week, Alyssa and Ryan just don’t catch things from me. Alyssa has been sick perhaps three times, and she’ll be three on the 27th of October. Ryan is a year old, and ran a fever once… in May.
I wonder how things will change once they go to school and are thus exposed to more germs? Because really, except for the times we go out, or whatever Dan happens to bring home after being exposed at work, or whatever we may come into contact with from my family, I don’t think we are exposed to a lot of germs and illnesses. And of course, the few we are exposed to, manage to infect me each and every time.
