I freely admit that with being busy with a three year old, a one year old, a household to manage, cats (did I mention I’m getting a shaded silver Persian cat in another few weeks?), and my own work, it’s easy to buy various things, including baby and kid gear and toys, and go on obliviously, thinking everything is fine.
But if China has taught us anything, when it comes to toys, things definitely are not fine. It it always good to keep abreast of baby gear, kid gear and toy recalls.
For recalls, I often scan the news websites, as they’ll have blurbs about them. Retail websites – such as KMart, Target and Walmart – also have continually updated information about recalls, especially if they are carrying products affected by the recall.
