It’s our third anniversary, and we haven’t done anything “romantic”… yet. Unfortunately, while parenthood is great, some parts of it aren’t so great. Tonight, for instance, we had plans to go to dinner and then bowling. But my mom came down with a stomach bug, so she won’t be able to watch Alyssa and Ryan so Dan and I could go out tonight. Oh well.
Instead, we have spent the day sleeping in (me), watching television (Dan), paying bills (me), doing local taxes that we forgot about last year – oops! (Dan), and in general, being parents. 
Any ideas to make our “at home” anniversary a little nicer?
