Poor Alyssa. And poor me. She got the stomach bug that my mother and brothers had, and that Ryan had for a little while. It started today, while I was trying desperately to grab a half hour nap or so. Hah. Dan decided he couldn’t handle Alyssa’s mess and Ryan’s diaper, and came in screaming at me to get up, like it’s somehow my fault that Alyssa decided to come down with the stomach bug at that very moment, and for good measure Ryan threw his own two cents – or in this case, a dirty diaper – into the mix.
Anyway. That was hours ago. The baby stopped whining, Ryan is down for a nap, and Alyssa is settled in our bedroom, since we have a very close by bathroom, and there isn’t as much carpet between our bed and our bathroom as there is between her bed and the other bathroom. Oh, and in addition to quitting his whining, Dan also went to work. 
I have laundry going, and I feel like I’m about to pass out from all of the cleaning and sanitizing I have been doing this afternoon.
