I am really pissed with the current bank that we have our checking accounts and saving accounts through. There was some sort of lapse in security with Certegy, which resulted in account information being leaked. My account was one that had its information leaked. The result? My account is close to eight hundred dollars in the negative, thanks to a load of bank charges. Worse still, the bank doesn’t seem too inclined to do anything about it. I submitted a form I was told to fill out, and I had it rejected because the form was a filing for ACH transaction, not the bounce fees that resulted from ACH transactions.
I don’t know. Banks are so quick to take, take, take, but they hesitate to give, even though the money they are taking isn’t even theirs to begin with. Our current accounts with our bank, Wachovia, are a huge mess, and I hope to get it all resolved soon.
