Today is chilly, dreary, rainy, and very, very gray. It’s on days like these that I don’t want to do a single thing but sleep. Unfortunately, my brothers are going to be staying with me for a while, so during the week at least, there’s no way on God’s green earth I’m able to sleep in. Instead, I have to get up at 6:30am to get my twelve year old brother up and off to the bus stop by 7am. Then I can go back to sleep or do whatever until 8:15. That’s when I have to get my nine year old brother up, ready and then drive him to school.
We’re getting ready to sell my grandfather’s house. Over this weekend my mother and I are going to be clearing out as much as possible. There are a lot of various items we’re both going to take for our own households, including pots and pans, dishes, lamps, and even some furniture. The clearing out of things that can be stuffed into my hatchback and transported will be taken care of today. The actual moving around and transporting of furniture will take place on Sunday, when my husband and I can use my mother’s mini-van to move things around.
These next few days are going to be very busy. Today I’ll be at my grandfather’s house, taking care of the organizing and loading up of various items. Tomorrow I have two meetings to go to with my mother. On Saturday my mom and I are making a two hour trek to a town outside of Harrisburg to pick up two male shaded silver male kittens. One is for myself. Two days away from having a kitten, and I still haven’t settled on a name! My three choices so far are Julius, Leopold and Galileo. Thoughts?
