Health issues and injuries aside, nothing strikes fear into the heart of a parent quite so fast as the thought of CPS (Child Protective Services) can. Sadly, I am well acquainted with CPS, thanks to the numerous behavioral issues my brothers have had over the years, many of which have spilled over into their education and caused other problems.
Currently, CPS is involved with my mother and brothers. I personally feel they are too involved, especially when the particular caseworker assigned to my mother likes to misrepresent, outright lie, paint her to be the bad person, and ignore her attempts at communication and then turn around and scream non-compliance.
I was doing some research today, and I came across several interesting websites. The best and most informative was definitely fightcps.com. Allow me to share my favorite post from them with you. Not only is this my favorite, but it is also very informative, which is why I am sharing it here. Please note that credit for it goes to fightcps.com.
