With four kids in my care, I’m going more than a little nuts. To you moms who have more than two kids: kudos to you! I don’t know how you do it.
You know, last week my twelve year old brother came home with a check, that’s right, a personal check, made out to him in the amount of five dollars. It had come from his teacher. I asked him what it was for, and he said it was for completing some assignments and handing them in on time. Maybe it’s just me, but my moral feathers are ruffled at the idea of kids being rewarded with money for work they are responsible for completing in the first place.
Blech. I’m so sleepy today. I did a lot of work here around the house last night – cleaning up a lot of stuff, putting things away, sweeping and mopping my floor, and finally steam cleaning my living room carpets. Things are a lot cleaner, but I am exhausted!
