You know, I have to shamelessly, yes shamelessly, admit that I am not cut out for more than two kids. After having my brothers for going on five weeks (actually, tomorrow night will be five weeks), I am SO glad that I had a tubal ligation. Granted, since my tubes were simply clamped, there’s a great successful rate, but I seriously doubt that Dan and I will ever take advantage of that. The only way we’re having any more kids is if I somehow wind up pregnant, which will hopefully NOT happen, since pregnancy after a tubal ligation is not all that common!
I really don’t know how you moms of more than two do it, but you have some major kudos from me. I’m tearing my hair out over what is a temporary situation. I can’t imagine it being my normal life!
