Despite all of the stress and upset going on in my life, a lot of which I haven’t even mentioned because I haven’t had the time or desire to share it, one little thing has been making my outlook be a lot more optimistic. The following picture should explain well enough:

The beautiful Nikon D40x. $629 for the body. I already had the bag, two lenses and an assortment of filters and memory cards from when I had the Nikon D40, so the body was all I needed. I have been having a ton of fun with it. I have already taken over two hundred photos, and I have only had the camera for six days!
