When making a large purchase, one typically researches all aspects of that purchase, right? I’m speaking specifically about electronics. When I was researching the Nikon D40 and D40x, I quickly realized I would need lenses to go along with the camera body, and made sure to purchase them when I got the D40. Surely my husband would do the same when I took him out Playstation 3 shopping. Right? Well, apparently not. Ten minutes after we get home and he’s ripping into his PS3 like a kid tears into Christmas presents, he looks at me with a rather pitiful expression on his face.
“We forgot to get HDMI cables.”
We? We? I knew nothing about the PS3 except when to hand over my credit card to pay for it, and I’m expected to take part of the blame for forgetting a cable for it? Pfft! Eff that. I made him run back out for the cable.
