Christmas is less than two months away – can you believe it? Dan and I have close to twenty people to shop for, and that doesn’t include each other. For the last few years, we have primarily worried about picking out gifts for my family members and for his family members, for Alyssa, and now of course for Ryan. Last year we spent a record $100 on each other. This year we’re planning on tucking away about four times that much for us to split and then spend on one another.

It just goes to show you how parenthood is. You get so busy with taking care of kids and even other family members, that you wind up neglecting yourselves. Sad, but so true.
