I love that phrase in regards to neutering – taking the wow out. I wonder where that phrase came from?
Anyway, yesterday I took Kirin to be neutered. I had to go to Harrisburg, because the vet we used recently transferred to an office out there. Ah, nothing like getting up at 9am on a Saturday morning to make the hour and ten minute drive to Harrisburg.
Although, for me the drive was about fifty minutes, because I hate driving, I hate driving long distances, and I especially hate this monotonous stretch of highway I have to drive to get there. So I went over the speed limit, and got there a lot sooner.
While I was killing time until Kirin was ready to be picked up, I went and did a bit of shopping at Target. While I was there, I picked up several Christmas gifts for the 5-9 year old girl I am preparing a shoe box full of gifts for:
You guys have until November 19th to buy gifts and fill a shoe box with them, and drop it and a $7 donation off to a local drop-off, so if you have $20-$30 to spare, why not choose a few Christmas gifts for children that may not otherwise receive anything this year?
