So, does someone want to tell me what potty training boys is like? I have a sinking feeling that we got off too easy with potty training Alyssa. Either she is suddenly going to blow a gasket and wind up regressing into diapers until she hits high school, or we’re going to have a rough time with potty training Ryan!
It’s funny how many different methods there are for potty training. Many parents seem intent on starting potty training at young ages. To me, young is around two years of age. Too young is before two years of age. I’m sorry, but with the exception of a few cases here and there, eighteen months old is TOO YOUNG to be correctly and accurately potty trained.
How old were your kids when they were potty trained? Alyssa was two months shy of her third birthday. And for Ryan, well, he’s only going on sixteen months old now, so time will tell!
