When I was pregnant with Alyssa, my husband swore the following to me:
- “Our baby will not have a pacifier!”
- “You are not going to drag our baby out everywhere you go!”
We’re still trying to break Alyssa of the pacifier for good (Ryan occasionally takes one when he’s fussy and can’t fall asleep, so we keep a few around), and she LOVES to go out. I’d say her favorite place to go is Target. She definitely takes after her mother there!
So during your pre-parenthood days, what did you swear would/wouldn’t happen that hasn’t/has happened anyway?
