We have several developments popping up here and there, and they all annoy me. While the houses are gorgeous (we’re talking arched entryways complete with chandeliers, huge dining rooms, porches, decks in the back, and perfected landscaping), I can’t imagine living in a cookie cutter home, in a row with ten or twenty other cookie cutter homes that look just like mine. Furthermore, I can’t imagine living in a home that’s MINE and paying for it, but having to abide by community rules that dictate, among other things, the type of window furnishings I can use. Ridiculous! I’m much happier in a place like the one we have now, where we can do whatever we want, the opinions of others be damned.
