When you really think about it, macro lenses are nothing but glorified magnifiers. Says the blogger who fumbles with her macro lens… Though I guess I should clarify: my macro lens is actually a macro lens filter. It screws onto the end of my lens. But hey, a $30 macro lens filter for the occasional macro photo? Beats paying the price of an actual macro lens, which is easily several hundred dollars!
