Dan and I were up late last night, but we would have been okay for getting up by 10am for an appointment we needed to take the kids to this morning. But then Alyssa decided to stay up until almost 6am. This is despite getting up early yesterday, being out at the park for several hours, then up all evening and not going to bed until after 11pm!
So when Dan and I went to bed by 4am-ish, I was not expecting to hear Alyssa come sneaking out since she thought we were all asleep. She didn’t finally go to bed until close to 6am. Ugh! Needless to say, we missed the appointment today. But I did take care of several important phone calls that I wouldn’t have otherwise been home to make, so I guess it all kind of works out.
