Signs of how horrible our economy is are apparent even in the rural area where I live. Driving along a road today, we saw not one but four large, beautiful homes for sale within a one mile stretch. These are homes that were recently inhabited by families with children, probably good paying jobs, and most assuredly dreams. What the heck happened? Foreclosure is scary, and so is the risk of losing everything you own unless you sell and go cheaper as soon as possible. With all of the residential and commercial real estate properties up for sale, everywhere I go is a depressing reminder of how good we have it in comparison.
