For the last few months, we’ve had our son in disposable diapers, except for the few times when we would run out late at night or on a day when we were busy with stuff at home, and couldn’t/didn’t want to go the store to buy more.
It’s not that I dislike cloth. On the contrary, they’re almost fun to put on Ryan, and he looks cute waddling around in them.
But the kid PEES like there’s no tomorrow. Take the other night for example: put him to bed at 10pm in a fresh, dry cloth diaper. I check on him at midnight, and he’s soaked — through the cloth diaper AND cover AND clothes AND bedsheets. So I change everything and put him back to bed. Three hours later, same deal.
Two mornings ago it dawned on me to double him up in cloth.
He waddles a lot more, and his pants fit tightly, but at least he doesn’t burst through everything within an hour’s time!
