Yesterday was one of those days where I could have cheerfully knocked my kids’ heads together. Or locked them in a sound proof room with one another and go on my merry way. They both went to bed late and got up early, and both refused their naps. So as you can imagine, by 8pm last night they were driving me — and each other — absolutely BATTY. When Dan got home from work at 9, it was even worse — Alyssa immediately turned on the waterworks and whining, just for him. Thank God she put herself to bed not long after, because I was ready to tear my hair out at that point.
Today? Both kidlets are great. They went to bed at a normal time, and slept really late. I have some work to finish up, and then we’re going out for the afternoon. Today is TOO beautiful not to enjoy by being outside and in the fresh air and sunshine. ♥
