Liquid vitamins

Alyssa is a picky eater in the sense that some days her appetite is non-existent, and other days I’m practically beating her away from the fridge. Ryan is picky in the sense that he picks meat, potatoes, rice and french fries over vegetables of any kind. I try to roast and simmer meats in vegetable broth and mush up veggies to hide in mashed potatoes and rice, but the kid is beginning to outsmart me, and we don’t do roasts and simmering meats every single night of the week, nor do we do them for every meal.

So what’s a mom to do?

Well, I’ll tell you what *this* mom did. I ran right out to to Target and purchased liquid vitamins for children. I add a dropperful to a six ounce cup of juice every day for both Alyssa and Ryan. Bonus: I use vegetable enriched juices, including V8 Fusion and Juicy Juice’s Harvest Surprise.
