When looking into purchasing a shiatsu massage chair, many buyers take the warranty into consideration.  There are five main length options various companies offer in terms of massage chair warranties.  There is the ninety day warranty, the one year warranty, the three year warranty and the five year massage chair warranty.

A ninety day and one year warranty can signify a cheaper chair that will be more likely to have problems.  A three year warranty signifies a more reliable chair.  Five year warranties are usually offered on chairs that will probably not have a problem.  Some distributors include a warranty in the price of the chair while others charge additional money for it.  It is important to find out of the warranty is included before purchasing a chair.

The second thing to consider in terms of warranties on massage chairs is what is included in the coverage.  Some massage chair warranties cover parts and labor for the entire warranty period.  Other warranties cover either parts or labor for only a few weeks and the other for the length of the warranty.
