When Ryan was a few weeks shy of being three months old, we took him in a pea-in-a-pod suit to the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire. We had so much fun there. He was adorable in his suit, tucked inside my hot sling (great for hands-free carrying, and for on-the-go breastfeeding). When we went, it was Dan, Ryan and I, my camera, two extra diapers and a bottle of spring water. We didn’t take much in the way of spending money, because we didn’t really have any spending money.
That was almost two years ago, and I have promised myself to take Dan back this year. He loved it then, and I know he’d love to go again. We dream of going and buying me a corset and him a suit of armor, but unfortunately we probably couldn’t afford to swing both. Maybe we’ll do the suit of armor.
