I’m thinking about tuning into USA Network’s new original series In Plain Sight when it comes on next Sunday (10pm EST). I’m looking to fill the void left by Nip/Tuck ending last winter, since there’s still another few months before the new season starts up. The show is about a woman, Mary, a US marshal, who participates in helping families with the witness protection program, and also spends a lot of her time solving crimes and murders. While the show touches on a lot of her work, from the trailer and reviews that I’ve read it seems to also focus on her own personal life and issues.
Whenever I get involved in a new show, I like to check out the character bios so I can get to know the people I’ll be watching interact with one another. As soon as I read Stan’s bio, I immediately thought of my husband’s boss, who I know pretty well. Even though he’s above Dan on the totem pole, more than anything he acts like a big mother hen, and often lets Dan and others take charge. He spends most of his own time worrying himself sick and stressing about things.
So, what do you think of the show?
