So, Ryan turned two on Saturday. We celebrated by having a birthday party here at our house. In addition to Dan, Alyssa and I, my mom and brothers came, as well as Dan’s maternal aunt, paternal aunt and uncle, brother, our friend Jason and my friends Danielle and Matt. Yeah, it was a full house, but we all had a lot of fun, and Ryan really enjoyed himself, so it was worth it!
Anyway, yesterday I went out to get Ryan some fall clothes. Jason had given us a gift card to Target, so I used that to buy Ryan a bean bag chair, and to get him a polo shirt and fall jacket, and to get Alyssa a fall jacket and a pair of silver jeans.
Danielle and Matt gave us a gift card to Babies R Us. I got over there yesterday, and between the gift card, extra cash I had and a buy-3-get-1-free sale on all Koala Baby/Koala Kids clothing, managed to get some really nice stuff for Ryan, and two tops for Alyssa:
I love the clothes at Babies R Us. It’s so nice to find little boy clothes that aren’t dark and dreary and camouflaged and sports related, or worse yet, tacky character themes. I just wish they made them in larger sizes — they stop at 4T, which is what both Alyssa and Ryan are currently wearing.
