Money can buy a lot of things. Advances in technology can do a lot for our bodies, our general health, and the state of the world around us and how we go about our day to day routines on it. But there’s one thing that no amount of money on this planet or current technology can guarantee: fertility.
I got very lucky with both pregnancies. My first pregnancy was unexpected, but routine. My second pregnancy was very fast. I no sooner said to my husband, “Let’s have a second child!” and the pregnancy test was coming up positive. If it weren’t for my tubal ligation (done right after my son was born via c-section), I’m sure I would have been pregnant at some point during the last two years.
But for those who do have trouble getting pregnant, there is hope. One well known and trusted fertility treatment is done with the use of a prescription drug called Clomid. child-wish.com has a pretty interesting and indepth article on Clomid and its uses, Clomid When should we have intercourse?. The article discusses the Clomid medication, when it should be taken, side effects it may have (dizziness is a routine one), and how it works.
Another article I’d like to point out to you is causes for early miscarriage. Unfortunately, for the millions of women who do get pregnant, there is a one in three chance of that pregnancy ending in a miscarriage. But sometimes there are reasons as to why miscarriages keep happening, so with some education and preventative measures you may be able to stop the heartbreaking cycle.
