For over two weeks I have been on the run almost every single day. Saturday, Sunday and Monday were the worst, because each day I drove over one hundred and fifty miles total. Ugh. I’m so glad I’m done with those headaches. Of course, I’ll have to do two more jaunts like that next week, but the soonest driving trip is still four days away, so I’m going to sit and chillax.
Today Dan has off. I love when he has off. Not just because he usually lets me sleep in (thank you darling!), but because we get to veg together all day long. Though today we are going out together — to the mall to check something out for Dan, and then to the grocery store to pick up extra chicken and noodles for dinner, since Jason and my mom will be eating with us. I want to leave soon, because there’s a local fair going on, which means that every redneck around for miles and his mother will be on a polaris rzr, running around and whooping and being general pains in the butts.
I need ideas for dessert. Should I bake a cake? Pick up a pie? Or be lazy and let everyone rummage for their own goodies in my kitchen cabinets?
