Evil, evil holidays

Recently someone Twittered a how-to list for selling toys on eBay for holidays. The general idea is that you buy a few quantities of “hot” toys, then jack up the prices on eBay. I’m sorry, but WHAT? It’s one thing to do such a shitty thing, but it’s quite another to BOAST about it and ENCOURAGE others to do it!
I have seen a lot of crap like this on eBay, from fashionable shirts to acne treatments to dog toys and beds (last week I saw a $6.97 dress on eBay for $25!). It’s a sickening practice, and one I would never ever partake in!

Don’t you remember when they were doing this with the PS3s? They were jacking it up 2 and 3 times the actual retail value since there was such a short supply of them. Funny thing is, it backfired on a lot of them and instead of getting the two grand they were expecting, they ended up selling at a loss. Thankfully people were smart enough to not encourage this type of gouging.
