Clothing is not optional

Ryan is back to stripping. We battled with him over this last fall, and now he’s doing it again. It used to be that pants and socks would come off, while multiple layers of shirts would come on. Now everything is off, right down to the diaper. That wouldn’t be a bad thing, except that he is not potty-trained and shows no interest in being potty-trained. I even tempted him with Blue’s Clues and Spongebob underwear (he looks so cute in tighty-whiteys!), but it was a no go. He shrieked and flailed and rocked and within a few minutes the underwear lay discarded on the living room floor. Pfft.

I think we’re going to follow that that family of six autistic kids do and put on his overalls — backwards. This way he can’t get out of them. Mwahahaha!
