Collars are for dogs, not mommies

DSC_1985 (by Jenn ♥) Today I was wearing the collar shown in the picture to the left. It’s something Dan likes, so I’ll occasionally wear it for him. ;) Anyway, while I was putting Alyssa down for a nap/quiet time, she asked what it was, and I made the mistake of saying that it was a collar, instead of a necklace. Heh. That got her on this whole rant about how collars are for dogs, not for mommies, and that I should give it back to Leah, it’s not nice to take Leah’s collars, and I have plenty of necklaces, so why can’t I just wear those?

Then she switched gears and wanted to wear the collar herself. *eyeroll*

It’s so awkward when kids and sex lives collide!

Hah, this is a cute story. :)

Well, you could have explained that there’s different length of necklaces and some that are *really* short kinda look like collars… Maybe next time?
