So, my baby boy is three years old. He officially turned three as of 9:00am yesterday morning. We celebrated with a fabulous, fun and exhausting birthday party! Danielle and Matt came up on Saturday night to be here for the party, and the three of us took Ryan to the pool early yesterday afternoon, while Dan stayed home and set up for the party.
The party was a lot of fun. It made me wistful for pregnancy, baby showers, newborns and breastfeeding. But at the same time, I love having older children that are thinking for themselves and are becoming quite independent.

How sweet! My step-son just turned 3 a few weeks ago. I think his favorite thing about his cake was me letting him lick the toy motorcycle that was sitting on top of it. lol.
