Women who pick their men over their children sicken me. I’m a subscriber to Parents Behaving Badly, and it seems like every other post is about a woman who turned a blind eye while her baby daddy or boyfriend did something horrible to her child(ren). In other cases, like the story I just read this afternoon, the women actually participate in the abuse or actual murder of the children in order to placate or please the man. It’s despicable, and in the cases of women and their men abusing the children together, I think that the women should be sentenced more harshly than the men. I’m sorry, but as a MOTHER you have an obligation to protect your child. And to choose a man over your own child… it’s just despicable. It’s disgusting, and it to do so should revoke the right to LIVE, or at the very least the right to your uterus.
I’ve had my mind made up since before Alyssa and Ryan were born: if something ever caused Dan and I to split up, I wouldn’t seek out a guy for ANYTHING until my kids were teenagers and old enough to speak for themselves and defend themselves. No penis is worth sacrificing your children for, ever.

My brother in law does that when he meets women. But he not only chooses them over his daughter. He chooses her kids over his own. Makes me wanna smack him around and be all DUDE!!

Sadly, this happens all the time. It’s sick, twisted, and makes me want to rip the parents heads off. Typically, it’s a woman choosing a man over her child(ren) however, it happens quite often with married couples too. I know of a couple where the mother and father put each other over the children and even OTHER men/women over their children (as in while they’re cheating on each other). It’s definitely a sick world we live in these days.
