Break out the tissues

Alyssa is sick. She has had a persistent case of the sniffles since a few days before her birthday (October 27th). Now the sniffles have gotten worse, are accompanied by coughing, sneezing and head and chest congestion, and she is running a low-grade fever. I haven’t taken her to the doctor because I know what they’ll say: rest, fluids, OTC meds to relieve symptoms, blah blah blah. But she’s been sick for almost two weeks now, and today I felt she was bad enough to keep her home from preschool. Soooooooooooo, I think I am going to call the doctor and take her in to be seen, just to make sure she doesn’t have croup or something like that.

November is shaping up to be a busy month, and I have no idea how I’m going to get everything done. I’ve got a bunch of articles for a directory submission to write, work for Demand Studios and SEOWhat, and regular work, blog posts and sponsored tweet opportunities that pop up on a daily basis.

Right now Alyssa and I are lounging on the couch, watching Judge Alex while I do some blogging. She keeps commenting on the personalized baby gifts that are displayed on the one website I keep referencing. Sorry sweetie, but Mommy isn’t having any more babies, no matter how cute those onesies are!
Leah is also laying with us, and there’s a thick fleece blanket on top of the three of us. We’re quite cozy and warm! ♥

So, what are your plans for the week?
