I think it’s awesome that so many colleges and universities are offering online courses for degrees. With jobs, which are practically a necessity for everyone these days, families and children, it can be hard to find the time to attend an actual school for a degree. But at the same time, it’s important to do what you can to further your education.
I haven’t heard of Lewis University until now, but they are an accredited Catholic and Lasallian university that offers online courses. One degree they offer all of the required courses for is a bachelor’s in fire service administration. You would need to have this degree if you would be interested in being a fire fighter, municipal fire fighter, forest fire fighter, inspector, investigator or supervisor.
As Lewis University points out, effectively protecting against fires requires more than simply knowing how to put them out. There are many preventative measures that must be taken, as well as plans that should be made for the various risks and processes that go along with fire fighting.
