I don’t like to cook, but I love to bake. A quick glance at my Goodies set on Flickr is clear evidence of that. I have a thing for sprinkles especially. I collect tons of holiday sprinkles. I just added several containers and canisters of Christmas sprinkles to my collection, and I can’t wait to start using them on cupcakes, brownies, and on and in (yes, in) cookies!
Last year I gave away baked cookies as small Christmas gifts. I didn’t have time to think about the cold and fantasize about myrtle beach condo rentals, because I was busy baking. This year I’m thinking about buying Mason jars and putting together spiffy layers of dry ingredients, and finishing off the containers with Christmas-themed cellophane or fabric and ribbon. Unfortunately, my creative skills are severely lacking, so I doubt the final product will look much like what I’m picturing in my mind. :/ But hey, I can try!
