If there’s one thing I’ve learned since having kids, it’s that kids are expensive. The “prepping” for them is expensive, since there’s so much gear, essentials and clothing to buy. The first year is pretty cheap, especially if you choose to breastfeed, make your own food and use cloth diapers, like I did. The toddler years aren’t even that bad. But when the kids hit preschool and kindergarten age, look out! Suddenly they’re eating like horses (seriously, I cannot believe the appetites Alyssa and Ryan have had lately!), growing out of clothing, needing new shoes every season, and wanting every toy that they can get their hands on. And don’t even get me started on preschool tuition.
So, each and every single day I hit the keyboard faithfully, writing, researching topics on Wikipedia, doing web design, whatever, in order to help make ends meet and cover the “fun” things in life. And since I have multiple blogs, I happily use them for monetizing purposes. And if there’s one thing I love, it’s getting paid to blog. BlogAdvertisingStore.com is a blog advertising company that provides bloggers with ample opportunity to make some extra cash. And since the minimum payout is $100, there’s no chance of whittling away at the $15 or $20 you might get here or there, since you have to wait. And I don’t know about you, but for us $100 is half of our car insurance payment, and almost a full cell phone bill payment, so it goes to very good use!
I have been using BlogAdvertisingStore.com for a few months so far, and from what I can see they’re a fair and decent company to work with. There are always opportunities available, which each opportunity clearly laying out all of the requirements. The dollar amount offered for a sponsored post is fair, which is a nice touch.
So what are you waiting for? Being able to work from home and get paid to blog is where it’s at!

Have you had a payment from them? I’ve tried emailing them about another issue and they never replied so I’m a little worried about doing five or six posts for them and not recieving payment….
Elle´s last blog ..Where is my fiancé?
Elle, I haven’t yet, but I know of other bloggers who have, so I’m crossing my fingers! I just did two posts tonight to push me over the $100 minimum payout requirement, so around this time next month I should know if they’re legit or not!
I’m always up to try new paid blogging companies. I’m still new to all of this, I’ve earned maybe $5 from PayPerPost but as a busy, married college student it’s hard to imagine finding a normal job between going to two colleges, doing homework and enjoying being a newlywed!
Marie´s last blog ..What? We agreed?
In response (sort of) to Elle’s comment, I’ve experienced problems with this company actually paying me. They’ve owed me $101 since November of 2009 and have yet to pay me. Sending them e-mails asking me what, if anything, is going on with payment and when I can reasonably expect it have yielded absolutely no response. Googling “PayingPost scam” shows that I’m not the only one who is dissatisfied with their service.
