So it’s Monday, which means another week of the kids-work-house rat race has begun. I usually hit the ground running on Monday mornings, and this morning was no exception. I actually got up a half an hour earlier than usual, because Max, my two year old gray Persian cat, had an appointment at the groomer’s at 8:30am. So I ran out the door with him a few minutes after 8, and thanks to construction and school buses didn’t get him dropped off until 8:30am — if it weren’t for the hold-ups I could have had him there around 8:20, which would have given me an extra (needed!) ten minutes.
Then I rushed back home, dragged Alyssa out of bed (not literally, but you know… she was tired from staying up late last night, but that’s not my problem. In my house popping out of bed repeatedly does not entitle you to a morning of sleeping in!), helped her get dressed and gave her breakfast, and then ran the kids to preschool.
Now I’m at Panera Bread in the hopes of getting some kid- and interruption-free work done, but since Panera’s wifi signal keeps cutting in and out, I’m not sure how much work I will actually get done. *sigh*

I’m at Panera too
Getting some work done for TheLoveBox so that I can get reviews up tonight. Got two chapters to read on web usability and then I think I’ll take a stroll with my camera around the zoo.
My thighs are burning from the bike ride over here but I think I’m getting used to it.
