My patience is wearing very, very thin

Is it the age? The time of year? Something in the water? Just my shitty luck? I don’t know what it is, but it’s got to go, because I’m ready to tear my hair out several times a day, and I don’t like feeling this way. Argh. In a nutshell, my two normally-behaved, charming children have turned into two antagonistic little bastards. They agitate and irritate one another all day long. Alyssa and Ryan find ways to annoy the shit out of each other, and most times they find the most MUNDANE things to make into an issue. Who’s sitting in which booster seat, for example. Who gives a shit? Just sit your asses down and buckle up so we can go. Or who got the red gummi bear (vitamin) and who didn’t. Again, who gives a flying fuck? You both like white and yellow and orange just fine, so pop them in your mouth and be done with it.

You’d think this kind of BS would go on during the winter months, when the kids are cooped indoors most of the time both at home and at school. But nooooooooooooo, despite the gorgeous weather and ample time spent outdoors both at school and at home, they find ways to annoy each other and keep the screaming and whining going on all motherfucking day.

Argh. Can you tell that my tolerance for this stuff is very low? Heh.

  1. I hate to sound cliche, but ‘this too shall pass’. I am sure it is a phase and they we soon find out that the need each other more than they hate each other. Hang on just a little longer!
