I didn’t enroll Alyssa in summer camp this year because I feel she’s a little on the young side for it, but next year she is definitely going. Of course, next year she’ll be enrolled in Girl Scouts (I’m going to sign her up this fall), so it’ll probably be really easy to get her situated with a Girl Scout camp. As far as Ryan… he’ll be four at that point, which will make him eligible for a lot of the special education camps that they have throughout the summer.
As far as this year goes, there are several week-long vacation bible schools being held at like half of a dozen different churches, and I shamelessly admit that I plan on singing them up for all of them, bwahahaha. But honestly, I know they’ll love it! Now that preschool is over and Ryan’s special education preschool schedule is a bit sporadic (they go year round, but they have several breaks during the spring and summer), they’re getting a little bored. And we can only go to the park and to the pool so often, you know? Back-to-back vacation bible school camps is where it’s at!
